Screen lock

Hi, my phone keeps making phone calls by itself. It also picks up phone calls by itself.

Sometimes i can b in the middle of shmone esrei and suddenly i hear someone screaming hello hello on speakerphone because my phone decided to make a call and put person on speaker.

there must be a way for the screen or phone to lock once i press the off button.
